BoothLab is a 360 photo booth app that helps you capture slow-motion videos, apply effects, and share them instantly at events.

No internet is needed to record and process videos. However, cloud sync and QR sharing require a connection.

Yes! BoothLab lets you add your own music files to make each video unique and match your event's vibe.

To do this, you must already have the audio file saved on your device—specifically in the native Apple Files app. From there, you can easily import it into BoothLab in the Audio files section.

Make sure the file is in a supported format like .mp3 or .m4a for the best compatibility.

Each video is assigned a QR code that guests can scan to instantly download and share their recordings.

This QR code links directly to the video stored in your Google Drive, so a working internet connection is required at the moment of upload and sharing.

Once the video is uploaded, guests can scan the code using their phone’s camera and download the video immediately from the provided link.

Absolutely! As long as you're using the same App Store account on each device, you can install and use BoothLab without paying again. Just download the app on your other device, tap the crown icon to open the in-app store, and select “Restore Purchases.” This will validate your original purchase and activate it on your new device.

If you're seeing an error when uploading a video to Google Drive, it's usually due to one of these two reasons:

1. Your Google Drive is full:
You'll need to free up space by deleting some files from your Drive. Once you've done that, try uploading again from BoothLab.

2. Permissions were not granted correctly:
BoothLab needs full permission to upload videos to your Google Drive. To fix this:
  • Go to https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove "Video Booth 360" from the list.
  • In BoothLab, sign out of your Google account.
  • Sign in again, and this time, make sure you allow all requested permissions (check all the boxes on the screen).
That should resolve the issue!

After uploading a video to Google Drive, you may see a message saying that the video is “processing.” This means Google is converting the file into a format that can be streamed in the Drive viewer.

During this processing period:
  • The video might not play directly from Google Drive.
  • You may see a gray preview or a processing message.
  • However, you can still download the video immediately and play it locally on your device.
Depending on the file size and network speed, processing can take a few minutes. Once complete, the video will be playable directly in Google Drive.
